Our bus ticket today is scheduled for 5:00. We didn´t get up and ready until later. We also realized that to go to Pablo Neruda´s house, it would take almost 5 hours. It was cutting it a little close to making it back to catch our bus. So instead, we took our time getting ready and checked out of our hotel. We decided to go to the bus station and see if there was an earlier bus ticket and go back to Santiago.
There was a bus and we took it back to Santiago. Once back in Santiago, we decided to do laundry. We hadn´t done laundry since we played with the monkeys in Bolivia. When we opened up our back, I was repulsed by the smell. I felt so bad for the lady at the laundromat. She laughed when we appologized, but it was bad. We went back to the hostel adn talked with some folks and made dinner. We went to bed early in our private room because a few days of doing nothing is exhausting.
