Today we went on a walk. We walked through some of the parks and then stopped at the zoo. It was about a 45 minute walk to the zoo. At the zoo I was so excited. I finally saw a tucan. I saw a few animals that I had never seen before. It was so exciting. i saw a black panther and a black fox. Also a deer rabbit thing. It was cute. They also had mini ponies! I was just so excited. The zoo looked a lot like the Portland zoo. Some of the cages were a little small and the security walls looked a little short. But it was a nice place. The animals looked healthy. There were also wild monkey´s that sat and tormented the big cats. It was a nice zoo.
Then we walked up to a statue and memorial called Cerro de la Gloria. It was a nice hike. But I am tired and covered in sweat. We decided it was time to walk back to the hostel. We got back and then went to dinner and then crashed when it was bed time.
Mendoza is one of my favorite cities that we have visited. i could live here. it is beautiful. I love it.
