Today we woke up and were in Pucon. We were met at the bus station by our hostel owner Maria. She is super nice. We walked the two blocks to the hostel where she showed us to our room. It is so nice. It looks like a log cabin. The yard is beautiful with a great view of the Villarica volcano.
Once situated we decided to take a tour of this tiny town. We walked trough town and down by the lake. I could live in a place like this. It reminds me a bit of home.
Laer, back at the hostel we met everyone. They had all been gone for the day climbing the volcano. We decided to go white water rafting on 4+ rapids tomorrow with Kate and Tyler, friends from Canada and Ali from the UK. It should be fun. I am excited because now we finally get to do real outdoor adventures. This is what I think of when I think of Chile.
