Today is bike and wine tour day. We met some people in the hostel that were going on the tours also. So we ended up being a big group. We took a bus out into wine country. We got off a little early and rented bikes. I haven´t been on a bike in a long time. This will be interesting. We rode and stopped at the first winery which is also a museum. It was a nice tour with a healthy sample of tastings.
Then we decided to ride down the road to the end and then do the tastings as we ride back. Once we reached the end, or the place where we had to stop because we were tired and our bums hurt. We just had the tastings and then decided to order some food. It was necessary to eat because they were good sized tastings. The boys that we were with decided to finish some other random peopes food. That was a little odd. Then we decided to split up from the group. We were riding back to the next winery and I looked back to make sure we had everyone in our group. I almost ran head on into an oncoming car. Wine and bikig is not safe sometimes.
We stopped at the next winery and had some good sized samples. It was called temes Alba. We had 6 glasses of wine here. Our last stop was a liquor and chocolate tour. It was amazing. There were some stong liquors for tasting. It was a rough day.
Then it was time to head back and turn in our bikes. We were riding back and I was sprayed with mud buy the passing cars. That was not so much fun. It wasn´t as long coming back than going to the wineries which was good because my bum is in severe pai. We spent the whole day riding a bike and drinking through wine country. It was a lot of fun, but I will pay for it tomorrow.
