Nasca Day 3

Today was a busy day. We got up, had breakfast, laid by the pool until lunch, had lunch, laid by the pool until dinner and then played cards with the bartender when the sun went down. Its tough being us.

The bartender, Faustion, an adorable old man taught us Peruvian Casio, some card game. However he didn´t tell us rules and didn´t speak English, so it was play until you understand how kind of mentality. We apparently had dates with the pool boys but ditched them to hang out with Faustino. It was a great day. Nice and relaxing.

A little about the hotel. Apparently people only stay here one night and then leave, usually giant tour groups. We however, have a long record of staying. The hotel is an old Soanish styple with a clay roof and arched doorways and windows. it reminds me of my Grandma´s old house in Corvallis. There are a ton of plants and trees. It is very green, but in the middle of the dry nothingness. It has 2 pools, a bar, a volleyball court, a soccer field, a pool table, pingo pong, foos ball, internet, movies, a horse, parakeets, peacocks and an alpaca...Deena. It is absolutely gorgeouse. Micaela loves it here. It is the strongest presence I have ever felt.
