Today was our first day of Spanish Class. We have class from 9-1. Our teacher is super nice and bubbley. her name is Paola and she has been a big help. I´m thinking that with this refresher course I will be able to remember what i have blocked out from high school. Class was exhausting though. Hard work and a lot of information to remember.
After class I crashed and took a nap. I know I have such a hard life. Once I woke up, I took my Spanish homework and went downstairs to the living room type room to talk to people and begin my homework. Once it came time to really work on my homework, my teacher and her son came in. Her son came up to me and said "Buenos Noches" (which means good evening/good night) and stuck his hand out for me to shake. It was so cute. he couldn´t be older than 5. Adorable.
then we went to the kitchen to make dinner...sandwiches are a great new meal for us. We sat around and talked to a Swiss and Canadian guy also staying in the hostal. They are pretty good company. By 8:00 we were in the kitchen chatting up a storm and got shushed by a lady sleeping down the hall. We were apparently being to loud. 8:00! I thought you were still aloud to be noisey by 8:00, especially in a youth hostal. So we decided to go downstairs and be loud, where it was permisable.
