I cannot believe I forgot to write about this day! our last day in Quayaquil was so much fun. we went walking around town and found ourselves attacked (in a good way) by these guys on the street who plastered us with stickers. there was a huge demonstration in the streets that day. over 150,ooo people were participating and we were in the middle of it. There was a march, music, speakers, food, dancing, etc. We had so much fun! We were a little nervous at first wearing these stickers because we had no idea what we were advertising, but we didn´t want to take them off in case that was insulting. We later found out that it was a protest againt the president of guayaquil who was not using the tax dollars appropriately. A man named Jaime Nebot was the speaker who was loved by the people. It was such a fun experience. the march took place down 9th and octubre and lasted all day. At first it was very unnerving because there were bus loads of riot control police officers prepared with sheilds and weapons, however they just watched all day because it was a very peacful demonstration. Oh yeah, I had many more boyfriends this day. I am getting a little sick of having so many boyfriends...
